IDK guess I’ll play Devil’s advocate. I thought the headline was good for “click bait” & isn’t that a writers intent? To get all viewers to read? If you support the attempted coup on DC, you will read thinking she is an ally. If you believe Trump encouraged what some of his cult were referring to as Civil War 2 then you would also read to see who she is. Win-win no?? Just want to add that while I lean conservative, that attack on our nations capital made me embarrassed to be a citizen. I thought I was watching a coup in a 3rd world country. And for the record the only major news outlet I have not heard calling out Trump as a liar is Fox News which after Wallace & Baier are just opinionated shows.

Devil's advocate is good! Thank you for the comment! The headline was definitely clickbait but maliciously so. Remember, she is a real person. Doesn't matter if she's holding pubic office. A misleading headline is an unfair and unethical attack on her character. A credible journalist / media outlet should not be so callous with people's lives and reputations. Re: the main news outlets all calling Trump a "liar" - so glad you brought it up! Very perceptive on your part. It's a lot like how they all called his election fraud allegations "baseless." Multiple media outlets all using the same linguistic cues is a byproduct of an age-old, slick marketing / communications trick that's based on something called "the rule of three" - I almost wrote about it this week! Keep reading - I will cover it soon :)

PS - I forgot to note that all of them utilizing the same language cues ("liar," "baseless," etc.) is also a byproduct of another topic Ill be writing about in here soon as well, called Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Very fascinating stuff. And very scary.
